Grow Asia joins 132 entities in Letter to COP30 | The Decade of Implementation: Seizing the Opportunity Together

Dear COP Presidencies, Climate High-Level Champions and all Participants of COP30,

Momentum is underway and unstoppable. We are in an era of implementation, and those who want to succeed are acting – making the transition more affordable, faster, and better for everyone.

We are coalitions of doers, working with cities, financial institutions, businesses, communities, academia, civil society, and national and subnational governments, proving that transformation is not only possible, but is beneficial - creating jobs, building resilience, and opening the door to a new economy that works for all people everywhere.

We congratulate the Presidency and Climate High-Level Champions for putting implementation and the mutirão at the heart of COP30. We offer our support to future Presidencies and Climate High-Level Champions, to drive continuity, inclusivity and make the Action Agenda an ever more powerful engine for delivery year-on-year. We are not waiting. We will deliver the Plans to Accelerate Solutions through key milestones next year and return to show measurable progress, share lessons, and take the next steps in advancing implementation.

We are already delivering results in every continent: a tenfold increase in solar energy in ten years, more than 1000 clean industrial plants in development, a tenfold increase in private finance for nature in four years, tripling investment in regenerative agriculture in two years, and supporting almost half a billion people to live with enhanced resilience over five years.

Together, we have the solutions and we can close the gaps identified in the Global Stocktake in support of the Paris Agreement in this decade of delivery – from energy transition and nature regeneration to resilient finance and inclusive prosperity. We must tackle the implementation barriers to unlock investment at speed and scale and put people first to deliver the future that citizens, employees and people on the frontline want. These collaborative efforts support the delivery of nationally determined contributions and adaptation plans and should give confidence to all actors to accelerate implementation.

Our message is clear: those who want to thrive in the rising new economy are coming together to seize the opportunities.

Join the Doers. Deliver the Future.
