Hj. Paramita Mentari Kesuma, B.Comm, SE, MM has about 20 years of professional and organizational experiences in strategic program management, multi-stakeholders engagement, sustainable development issues across private sector, NGO and government agencies. Mentari currently acts as the Regional Manager, Programs at Grow Asia. Prior to that, she worked as the Sustainable Landscape Program Indonesia Officer for UNDP, Indonesia Lead Consultant for Indufor North America LLC, Program Lead of Entrepreneurship Task Force for the Indonesia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN Indonesia), Indonesia Community Lead at Fortescue Future Industries, Executive Director of the Sustainable Coffee Platform of Indonesia (SCOPI), Executive Assistant to the Chief of the Peatland Restoration Agency of the Republic of Indonesia under UNOPS / UNDP / CLUA secondment - a non-structural agency reported directly to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, WWF-Indonesia, & Deloitte Indonesia.
Mentari currently serves voluntarily as the Head of Sustainability & ESG of the Womenpreneur Autonomous Body BPP HIPMI (Indonesia Young Entrepreneurs Association) and was a mentor for Singapore-based WOMAG (Woman in Agriculture). Mentari had a Master of Management in Applied Finance degree (BINUS Business School, Jakarta), a double-degree on Bachelor of Commerce & Bachelor of Economics (Curtin University of Technology, Perth, Australia & BINUS International University, Jakarta). Also, had completed short-courses from University of Pennsylvania, Duke University, University of California - Irvine, Drexel University and ADB Institute. She received full-scholarship from the Singapore International Foundation and Methodist Girls' Secondary School in Singapore. She had been awarded the BINUS Leadership Excellence Award 2011 from BINUS University, a LEAD Foundation Fellow on Green Economy in 2010, the Vice President of the BINUS University Student Committee and the Social Secretary of the Junior Common Room Committee of the Nanyang Girls' Boarding School Singapore.
This mom of two enjoys to read, write, travel, watch movies, music, journaling, do sports (swimming, scuba dive, running/trail run, yoga, pilates) & outdoor adventure. She won the Miss Indonesia Earth- Water 2008, the None Favourite Jakarta Kepulauan Seribu 2005 - youth ambassador of Jakarta, and was a freelance TV host for an ecotourism show (2007).
