At COP28, 159 governments worldwide signed the Emirates Declaration on Sustainable Agriculture, Resilient Food Systems, and Climate Action, acknowledging that agriculture must be at the heart of climate action. With less than nine planting seasons between now and the 2030 deadline for the UN Sustainable Development Goals, we need to rally additional support from our partners to meet the urgent targets set out at COP28.
This week, Grow Asia convened its Business and Partners Advisory Councils in Bangkok to reflect on our collective progress. The discussions highlighted the strides we've made, the challenges we are facing, and the innovative solutions driving us towards a sustainable future. We thank our council members for their relentless support and wisdom in strengthening our programs.
We also extend our gratitude to our Business Council member, Thai Wah Public Company Limited, represented by Ren Hua Ho and Hataikan Kamolsirisakul, for hosting Grow Asia's Joint Council Meeting in Bangkok.
Together, we are building resilient food systems and making significant advances in climate action. Stay tuned as we continue to work towards our shared goals.
