Joyce Franzly C. Racoma - Gomez
Joyce is the Country Director of the Philippines Partnership for Sustainable Agriculture (PPSA), a multi-stakeholder partnership platform that aims to engage smallholder farmers and market players towards socio-economic growth and competitive advantage. PPSA is catalyzed by Grow Asia and managed by the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP).
Joyce is responsible for bringing together different sectors and actors to co-develop and scale initiatives to address key issues in agriculture. She supports all the Working Groups’ activities, including facilitating stakeholder engagement, building linkages to government programs, and knowledge sharing.
She has nine years of experience in the development and communications sector. Prior to joining the PPSA, Joyce handled the National Agriculture and Fisheries Education System Secretariat of the Philippine Commission on Higher Education and was responsible for assessment, monitoring and evaluation of community extension projects and programs.
Joyce took up Masters degree units in Community Development in the University of the Philippines, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Santo Tomas. Joyce is also about to complete an Agribusiness Program in the University of Asia and the Pacific.
