Chahana is the Regional Communications Manager of Grow Asia, a multi-stakeholder partnership platform that builds regional and country partnerships to broker market-driven solutions for more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable food systems in Southeast Asia.

Chahana’s role at Grow Asia focuses on  the development and implementation of strategic impact communications across Southeast Asia, managing and strengthening its profile among media, policy-makers, implementing partners, donors, stakeholders and the wider public. Working closely with the broader team, Chahana highlights Grow Asia’s ongoing initiatives, key milestones, insights, and effectively conveys the complex challenges facing the region’s food systems on various platforms.

With a double major in Public Relations and Journalism, Chahana brings experience in managing diverse client portfolios and delivering integrated communications strategies. Her career evolved from working with lifestyle and healthcare clients to purpose-driven communications focused on social issues, human rights, and sustainability.

 

She also holds a Master’s in Environmental Management (MSc Sustainability) from the National University of Singapore, equipping her with a solid foundation in sustainability and climate communications. Her passion for impactful storytelling informs her approach to shaping narratives that inspire action and advance sustainable agriculture.
